How about having it (or a similar function) intergrated with the SMS/MMS reader function? I guess it would bring more fun when having messages read by having the smileys replaced with sounds.
Not bad, the S60 Messaging needs the introduction of emoticons too! This project could be channelised into that direction. An Image + Audio emoticons app.
No doubt, Nokia have needed to integrate emoticons into messaging for years, Sony has been doing this for a long time and while possibly trivial should not be that difficult to do. obviously if the fun sounds where to be added to this as well then care should be taken to make sure that sounds where deactivated with silent mode etc
