Nokia Conversations does not work at all on US ATT E71x phone. The program installs, but will not open. This has been confirmed on 3 phones. I dont know why threaded texts is not a standard part of s60 (especially the E business models). Post here if you want a much needed update to Nokia conversations.

I REALLY want this to work. But it won't. Same as above.
The only thing I miss from my Palm Centro is the threaded SMS. How this feature is missing from E71x is a mystery to me.
I only got this phone to try something different. (previous phone was samsung blackjack2, loved it, broke it twice though, stupid jog wheel) I miss windows mobile and its ease of app support and of course, threaded texting

Guys there is probably a simple reason it doesn't work on the E71x and I would guess its due to the Custom firmware it runs for at&t. So I doubt there is anything that can be done because at&t may well not allow it

Same here, this is really disappointing. I'm probably not going to go with a nokia the next time I replace my phone. If it's at&t's fault, then nokia is going to lose customers due to their (at&t's) incompetence. Crippled firmware is full of fail, and it will look to most customers like it's the fault of the equipment manufacturer.
this really sucks! I left blackberry to try the nokia E71x......with all the cool apps out there only a handful will work. i think i here blackberry calling my name

To be Honest I have used Symbian OS based phones through out.
I wonder y Symbain Does not develop some gr8 apps wen compared to some X Y Z OS.
I think Symbian shud work on this, even the market share is the highest for Symbain users, u ppl need to catch up coz the place is not permanent.
