Hi have an N82 and your last version 3.1 worked fine as long as MSN Messenger wont installed otherwise this wouldnt install at all because it wanted me to remove the file messenger installs to add an entry to the phone book (which breaks messenger as it can no longer sync the contacts database) which is obviously an issue you need to fix?

Now on to 3.2, 3.2 installs fine but never ever boots and does not add an entry to the phonebook even with no MSN Mesenger installed, it just refuses to start. The install goes fine but it wont start and the version i used was Conversation_32_0840.SISX and my phone details are V30.0.019 23-07-08 RM-313 Nokia N82 (68.01)

any help would be appreciate as i wish to try 3.2 to see what changes you have made as from 3.1 so many were still needed to make this a useful application, write now it can barely compete with windows of even Blackberrys Threaded message system and im not even gonna mention Apples...

Have you installed the necessary prerequisite files (ie: installing Nokia Internet Services Support Package, removing Nokia Contacts Service Support Package, installing Phonebook Extension Manager.)

Same problem here, N95 8GB FW V. 31.0.015
Installed it as instructed, and then neither Contacts nor Conversation worked.
I removed 'Phonebook Extention Manager' and then Contacts started working again, but Conversation still won't launch.

I have used Conversation on my E71 FW 200.21.118 (Norwegian) since I got it mid summer 2008.
Suddenly last friday my contacts started to crash. After some elimination activities - contacts was working fine after uninstalling Conversation
When trying to reinstall I'm not able to install "Phonebook Extention Manager" - says it's built in. When I try to reinstall Conversation (neglecting the error message above) the same thing happens again - contacts starts crashing - and Conversation would not launch.

I simply would not hard reset the device to perform a clean install - I have read reports about users doing this for no avail.

Beeing a long time Palm Treo user I really miss this app :|

I purchased this phone an year ago andI got this application as a part of the package. This application worked fine with that version of software (some 100.x version). Recently I upgraded the software on my phone and thus had to reinstall this application after downloading it from Beta Labs. Since, the last install I am unable to launch this application. Please suggest some workaround since I find this application very handy to track down the conversations.

There is a known issue in Conversation application current version, if in phonebook->Settings->Default Saving memory, "SIM memory" was selected. After installing Covnersation, phonebook will fail to launch. So my suggestion for who were unable to launch conversation with exact installation steps could be: try first uninstall the conversation, and then go to phonebook-Settings-Default Saving memory, change it to "phone memory". And then install Conversation again. Hope this could help.
