This app works the same as conversation but has some interesting options. The app gives you the option to choose how the new messages are handled. There are 3 options
1. hadle by default
2. hadle by default with additional info (number of sender etc)
3. open in isms window of the contact that send the message
You should implement this feature (1. and 3.) with the conversation app. This in my opinion would be a nice compromise since the idea of a plugin didn't get much attention of the Beta labs team. This is a more doable and reasonable solution for all us who wanted it as a standby plugin or default message handler. I hope that people on forum would agree with this and i'm looking forward to this discussion and hope we can find a solution for this.
