In my review I mentioned how I gave Gizmo loads of room to grow solely because I originally thought Gizmo was a Nokia project, hence the original name, Gizmoproject.
I know the Gizmo5 service is of a company called SIPphone out of California, with SIP server addresses of the same name and their XMPP servers still using the chat.gizmoproject.com domain.
So, how did Nokia become involved with SIPphone and what is the current status of that relationship?
Did the dev team port their tech over to Nokia Contacts? Gizmo for S60's phonebook integration, IM functionality and XMPP support. It all was headed in a nice direction. Connectivity issues being your Achilles heel.
