Active idle issue solved - kind of

Hi all,

Many of you have noticed that setting the Here and now bookmark as an active idle short cut creates problems i.e. a blank browser screen appearing in front of the application. We are working with the browser guys to fix this on the platform, but it might take some time.

Fortunately there is a way to go around this. The trick is to select the application itself as a shorcut and not the browser bookmark. So when setting the active idle shortcut, you should select the category Applications first and then Here and now. This should result into a green "information i" icon on your active idle.

Please give it a try and let me know whether this works for you.

There is not entry for Here and Now in applications, its only there in bookmarks.

Although there is no application showing in the GUI folders, the application will be pickable from the application list in the Active idle shortcut selections.

It wasn't showing up in my Applications list for the Active Standby shortcut list. Though my phone was messed up previously, have done a hard reset. Will be installing Here and Now again later on.

I tried the solution proposed by Pekka but, as reported by others, the Here And Now application is not listed when trying to add it as a shortcut...

same here cnat find option also blank screen on the N96 aswell
