how does this app sourse the events?

i see a couple of events (music gigs) listed in this app but how does it find them? in my area, we have a gig guide (printed and online versions) that features loads of gigs in my area. so how do i get this website to be included in the events within this app? is it Nokias job or do i need to send the gig guides produces the info to have it added?

i did see that but my town isn't listed on the site even though that app manages to find local events?
