Would be nice to select to add local sources that you are aware of.

maybe one of the dev team can let us know how we get our local event organizers submitting its data to this app? i want to see my local gig guide appear on here, only 2 places nearby are listed

You could try getting you local events organizers to put the evenrts info on:
http://www.wcities.com/
and see if it shows on "Here and Now"

thanks mrbrett, i did see snowys message in my post (didn't know weather to continue there or in this thread!), anyway, i was hoping for some official advice from the developers? i don't want to waste my time emailing my local events organizers and then have to message them again saying sorry I've wasted your time but i got some of my facts wrong.
i think if we can supply clear and accurate advice on how they can get there events listed on this service then its more likely they give it a go?
