it installed flawlessly (though It took some time).
Once started it showed me I was in La Parva, which is in Santiago but not even near to where I am.

Things that are not too clear, it downloads data, but, what AP is is using? I know for a fact the one it uses for using the browser because I have to select it (not a problem at all), but not sure if it's using the "default, always online" connection I have set when not using the browser. Also, If I didn't have such default or always connected AP I would like to know which one would it use in advance....

What doesn't work? Looks like the screen was layed out for a larger device. The bottom of the "page" is partially out of sight in the n95

It automatically tries to use the connection that the browser is using. This is because the whole thing is supposed to work from a special bookmark in browser.

For the same reason it returns to the bookmark view even if you did not start it from the browser. Sorry about these side effects in the sis installation, but it we had to choose the logical alternative for the integrated final product.

We noticed the same strange thing in N95 vs. N95 8GB. The resolution is supposed to be same, but still this clipping happens in N95. We will log a bug on that and figure out why this is happening.

Previously I had installed the original Here and Now on my N95, and then tried to uninstall, but now that the new Here and Now is here, I can't install it now. I get Update Error. and then it fails. Any suggestions to fix the install would be greatly appreciated! ( N95-3 )

Don't wish to disagree, but. . .

When I baught my N95 8Gb one of the enancements it was advertised as having over the original N95 was a slightly larger screen. Not a lot but a little.

@mbrett: You are right, the screen is slightly bigger. But then again the resolution is supposed to be the same: N95/2.6" QVGA (240 x 320 pixels), N95 8GB/2.8" QVGA (240 x 320 pixels).

Cannot imagine why the physical size/pixel size difference would lead into clipping, but it is happening anyhow. We'll look into this next week.

@ed2010: Please use the Application Manager to uninstall the old version first. Uninstalling the IS Very Lite Localizer should remove the whole application. Also, a reboot after installing the new version solved some issues (like the generic application icon on the active idle) on my N95 8GB. But I have had several strange versions in that one, so I might be that a reboot is not required for your phone;-)
