Fun, 75% there, it can only get better

A fun and interesting game that I think is 75% on it's way to becoming a commercial product.

The hovering bubble-tap idea is innovative and fun, and once you get used to its idiosyncrasies it can be enjoyable.

There are a few little things that hold it back. Firstly the timing of bubbles to the actual lyrics can be a bit off at times, while load times can be inconsistent - sometimes it's quick whereas others it can be very slow. The user interface can do with some improvement, for example there is no Capslock or Shift key to capitalise text entry, and the user detail entry screens are a little vague or unclear, but otherwise OK.

I am otherwise impressed with this cute little game, and it's nice to see a game come through the Betalabs community for testing.

-Were you connected to the internet?
-What country are you in?
-When did you download the game?

Hey Eric
1. I was connected to the internet (the phone was not offline, one noted occasion I was at home in WiFi range and no other traffic online, the other at work in full signal 3G)
2. I'm located in Australia (Brisbane)
3. I downloaded and installed it via Ovi Store very soon after it appeared on Beta Labs - 18th April

Also I'm running release PR1.2 / 14.002 on my N8

On the topic of load speeds - I have had the odd occassion where the loading screen can't be exited as the app seems to have either hung or entered a loading loop (the graphic continues to spin). It would be good if there was a cancel or back button on the loading screen so that if Lyric Legend gets stuck then users can return to the menu. At the moment I've been waiting up to 5 minutes then going back to the N8 home screen and using the application manager to close it. This successfully closes it 50% of the time, however I've also had to launch other memory intensive apps on my device to force Lyric Legend to be purged. I don't know if this is a firmware thing or not though.

I've added this idea to the suggestions section so other userd/testers can add their support or comment too.

my problem is on loading time as well. I was never able to load the game as it gets stuck in game loading after pressing the game level in a song.

I have Anna 022.014.
