Moderator moved from Nokia Beta Labs/Discussion/Nokia Maps v3.08 still says "Recently Updated"
I've had Nokia maps v3.08 for ages, yet it still says "Recently Updated" on the home screen.
It made me think that I hadn't downloaded the latest version of v3.08 but surely enough, I had.
Shouldn't this tag be removed?

I've read there is a new version of Nokia map 3.08(105) to substitute old one 3.08(1040). In your blog I've read that Live View is not compatible with Nokia Map 3.08
Is it true also for this new version?
@mutley61 - There is only one known issue with Maps 3.08:
"Walk/Drive direction may not work with devices running Nokia Maps v3.08 Beta"

I've asked the team to confirm whether the known issue is still there now that Maps 3.08 has gone from beta to commercial.

About the recently updated, probably you already know it, there is a bug with the sorting on the home page. At the moment it is ordered by recently updated tag and date of the release descending. Live view that was recently updated is not tagged as recently updated and appears under wellness diary that have still the tag, but the date is September.
I think that it should work in the following way:
Do a job that daily check the date of update (or a trigger when you update the field release date), if the date of update is in the range of today less, for example, 15 days, tag the apps as recently updated, else untag it.
After on the home page, the purse order should be by date of release independently if it is an update or a new app.

@navio1973 - Please send us screenshots if you see something that doesn't look right.
The way it should be working now after bug-fixing is:
- Trials that have been updated (set by date change on trial page) but which you have NOT downloaded will appear first on the list, with the Recently Updated tag, and in descending order of their release date
- Next, all your trials in which you have downloaded the latest release will appear in descending order of their release date
So everyone will see something a bit different on their own list, depending on what trials they are in and when they have downloaded last.
And this should be pretty close to what navio1973 describes (except for the 15 day restriction).
The problem cases are when you get an update through another means (e.g. in-app software update) or services that have nothing to download.

Hi John,
I sent you an e-mail with the printscreen.
After that we log in on betalabs, the first page shown is my trials, but we can know that there is an update only opening the “blog” page. My idea is, if a beta was updated, it should be in the first position of the list with the badge “recently updated”, in this way the user can easily realize that there is a new release.

Thanks for this and for confirming that the list is working as it is supposed to. However, in cases when app updates come through Store or in the app/service itself the "Recently updated" flag will appear to be stuck on because it does not know you got the update already. Clicking any link on the Try It page will clear the flag.
