Sometimes there are green posts as if they were marked as useful, but with no marks on them.
For example, you can find them in these two topics, at #37 and #3 respectively.

Yes I noticed this too.
Some of the cases it is due to an error after modifications where the counts are lost, but not the markings.
But there are other cases too.
My GUESS is that it is markings made by accounts that have been removed. ...But it is just a guess...
