Hi Beta-Team,
i appreciated the Nokia Audiobooks. I am very disappointed, that you have given up this projekt. I want to buy a new touchscreen mobile (s60v5) but the new OS will not support the old application :-(. Is there still a possibility to make it run on this OS ? Maybe the source code will be offered by you for porting it to this new OS ? Please re-awake the project...

Hi, this small side-project was discontinued in September 2009 and those involved have moved on to other things so opening the source code at this point is unlikely. Sorry for this inconvenience. As with all experimental applications here, there are no guarantees how or if projects will be continued after the trial period.

What kills me is that this "experimental application" was a complete success and very very popular.
It was one of the more useful applications and to this day, im still kicking myself for giving up my N95 8gb for an N97.
If anything, further resources should have been pumped into it, not removed. Any chance of an explanation as to why this was shelved?
Would it not be possible, with all the talent you guys have at beta labs, to spend a few days on a workaround for S60 5th? Even if it involves using a virtual keyboard then so be it.
Honestly, your decision to shelf this application makes no sense whatsoever
