Have just looked at the "About" page for the first time. I really like it - the graphics and the text. Good job Beta Labs Team!
It would be good to find a way to make people more likely to view this page - mostly "About" pages just have development credits on them and aren't very interesting, so I suspect that people will be like me and not think to look at it.
In particular, the checklist to help people know what sort of contributor we are most looking for is great - and we really would benefit from more people reading this!
How about calling the page "Read me"?, or flagging it up very prominently on the Home page with "read this first" or some gentler but equally persuasive wording?
(By the way, I looked on the "About" page to try and find out what the green stars signify, but I failed to find that info. Forgive me if I'm missing something obvious, but how do posts acquire these stars, what do they signify, and where is this documented on the site?)
