Well, I installed the app successfully on memory card and launched it to see the options and add some test words an so on.
However, when I type words (which are in the list) eg. in a text message, word prediction won't auto-complete them.
Also a restart didn't fix this. Is there any bug known yet or did I do anything wrong?

The auto-complete feature, as shown in the introductory video, is not part of this application. It is available in some of newer phones, like the E72, E75, N97, N97-mini, E55, etc.
On your 5800, the application can be used to its full potential, for editing your dictionary words, importing from and exporting to a file or a different phone. Hope you find it useful.
I have E75 and have the same problem. I know that this is not related to the new application because since the first day I've bought this phone, it could never learn any word. I have a nightmare, I have to type everything all the time. My phone language selection is English and writing language is Turkish. New application has no meaning for me as the words (and I've checked all the words I've entered previously are there) are not read from the custom dictionary list. Please help me with this bug.

It installs fine on the 5800 but it doesn't auto complete your words you have added
So I guess that since I am almost all the time using the qwerty keyboard on my 5800 then the custom dictionary will not help me at all, am I correct?
When will the 5800 get the auto-complete text input?
You ought to tell people that the auto-complete feature is not a part of the program and that this program will not do anything for people using the qwerty keyboard on the 5800. It was quite frustrating for me reading about what this program does, getting excited about it and then when installed I could not figure out if I did something wrong of if the program was not working because it did not do anything from what I could see. I was not before I went to check the bug reports and discussions about this program I realized that it did not help me at all!!
It's working really fine in my 5800, as it should (ty betaguys), but i got the "incompatible application" during the instalation.

just be patient for a while, nokia's really busy right now, almost every third day they roll out a new firmware for one of their phone models.
i'm pretty sure, they will add the auto-complete function to the 5800 too, if there's a possibility to include this feature into the firmware.
it is hard work to rewrite existing code, and nokia also has to fix a lot issues before they can and will add new features .. (at least i hope so :p )
I have this application installed on my N82 and I hav a similar problem.
I have added and edited words in the Custom Dictionary without any issues, and while typing something, the word or words i added would be recognized as it should. However, sometime after, words I edited or added to the dictionary, were no longer recognized-i've observed this over a number of days in succession, up to a few moments ago
How can this be corrected?
Geez, it has taken for ever for a spell check on the 5800... It can't be that hard

I have E66. when I open the application it says me that the phone only supports backing up and adding words in dictionary. I cannot remove any words
