Hope you can make this work on N8 as the app is very useful. Hope it can delete words as well as add. It also does not work well with N8 on uploading a text database file of the suggested word list.

First of all I like to congratulate the people who are behind this app. and tell them how thoughtful is it!My suggestion is to make it available for all nokia phones especialy for the Symbian 3 devices!!!!

Indeed. There is another thread in the discussions section which has about the same request. The app works on the N8, but you can only read, not make changes. I might also suggest changing the topic slightly to encompass all Symbian^3 devices. Many thanks!

you might want to fix this for the N8 so I am not constantly inconvenienced by idiotic
suggestions and can delete/manage my own without being forced to scroll through words I would never use, ever.

Please make this application available for the Nokia N8. Managing the custom dictionary should be a fundamental app on all Nokia phones. My 5800 had picked up some errant typos in the custom dictionary. My N8 has one as well, it absolutely drives me mad.
Agree. Need to have your own custom dictionary. I think the predictive text in Nokia needs to improve a lot. It doesn't pick up many simple words or puts them in Capital letter in the middle of a sentence.
I just upgraded my nokia 5800 to a C7. The current C7 texting experience is not as good as my nokia 5800. A lot of nonsense spelling captured and need to be removed. This app should be default on all nokia phone including s40 series. That way you could still keep your edge against the rest of the low end phones.
Nokia's dictionary does not recognise "N8". It selects "N8" and when you let go substitutes "O8". This is the flagship product and its own dictionary doesn't know it exists? That's simple incompetence. Nokia needs a QA dept, ASAP.
I too agree, I'd really appreciate being able to customize and streamline my dictionary, if only by deleting the typos and wrong capitalizations.

Hi, I attemted to use this app on my Nokia N8, as I found it very useful to manage my predictive words on my 5800 with this. I have some words that I would like to remove from my predictive text, however, when I installed this app on my N8 it told me that the phone is not fully supported and that I can only add and back-up words but cannot delete them. Will there be a version made to work on the Nokia N8 or Symbian^3? I would really appreciate this, as it is annoying having to deal with predictive text words which I don't want there and I couldn't find a native tool in the phone to do this.
Please help me if possible.
I totally agree. This is functionality which all Symbian phones right back to 3rd edition should have built into the firmware. Please develop for N8... I expect this feature to be rolled out now S^4 has gone down the drain.

Unfortunately, there are certain issues on the Symbian phones like N8, E7, C7 which needs to be sorted out before Custom Dictionary application can be used on them.

I have this installed on the N8. It says it only supports backing up and adding words to the dictionary.
Really need editing support to remove words with errors.
The lack of this app on the N8 is something I notice having become used to on the N97.
Would love to see a port to Symbian^3.

i fully agree i'd love it on my n8.
from what i can tell the prediction database is the same on the n8 as s60 5th, so the app can do it it just doesn't think it can.
an option is to export the database, edit it, delete the whole database by hand, c:\predic and then import.
seems like the kind of app they could easily stick on ovi.

Still no support for s^3. Been ranting this to my other s^1 user. Even iphone has the ability to reset their T9 dictionary.
Update this app for the N8 c'mon please!!!! I really need to delete and edit words!

Please make this application available for the Nokia N8, because it has limited functionallity on it. I think, that there are more programs neaded for Nokia N8 and others. First, call stat app with graph,similar to Callstat for android, Callcounter for iOS, Phone Dashboard for WM. Second app must be Battery graph, similar to BatteryGraph on Palm, Maemo, Android and iOS. They all have such useful app, they are smarphones, N8, N97 and others symbian devices too. Symbian have battery monitor, that show information for stupids: 20 hours, if.., 3,7 hours if..., but not battery life live(Nokia Energy Profiler is not that same). Thanks
