1. How do I perform tests with Nokia Diagnostics?
When you open the application you see list of diagnostic tests. Double tap on the test which you need to perform & follow the instructions.

3. Would I incur high data charges if I perform Internet Connectivity test?
No, Internet connectivity test usage would result in only very few bytes of information being transferred.
4. I don't have any working Access Points in my device and when i run the Internet Connectivity test it prompts me to run Diagnostics settings wizard, what is it ?
Diagnostics Setting Wizard is similar to the S60 Setting Wizard and it updates Access Points in the device based on the Current Operator.
However it is context aware and is invoked only when the Internet connectivity test detects that the device does not have any working access points to connect successfully to the internet.
5. I'm facing issues with one of the features in my phone, do you have any Diagnostic tests for it ?
Please provide your suggestion if you think a Diagnostic test is needed on a particular feature in the phone.
We would love to hear feedback from you and going forward update the Nokia Diagnostics application with more tests.
6. Why isnt "Software Update" option able to update my phone software ?
It might be because your device doesnt have a Firmware update available in our server. "Software Update" option does have some known problems and it might not give proper feedback to the user if the update fails. We are working on it and will update it in future releases.
7. Is the application supported on S60 3rd edition devices ?
Nokia Diagnostics application is now updated to support S60 3rd edition feature pack 2 devices & 5th edition devices.
8. What is the Advanced mode ?
You can use the advanced mode option to find out more technical information ragarding the tests you run.
