Thanks Martain for your bug report.
Yes we only send the GMT time, since we dont know what time zone (local) the host and participants will come from. So we display the standard notion of GMT. One way to get around this would be to ask the user, during registration stage, their local time zone and then send the email and the SMS with their local time zone.
BTW in the conference list we do show the correct (local time) time. I hope that is showing it correct for you.
Hi Umesh,
Ii do understand the difficultiy in listing the time of the meeting.
The conference list shows indeed the correct time.
I have a suggestion regarding the email about the meeting to the host .This email has a title that starts with day, date, (GMT) time, the word meeting followed by the meeting name the host gave it. The email itself contains all this information also.
The title with so prominent displaying the GMT time may confuse the host although he toke the iniative for the meeting.
My suggestion is to only display the meeting name in the meeting invitation, since day, date and time are already in the email body. Participants receive such an email. Start the title of the invitation with 'EASYMEET' as you do with the SMS the host receives.
A host can drag and drop the invitation into a (Outlook) calendar and at that moment the need to adjust date and time anyway to be able to save the calender item.
Martian, that is a very good suggestion. We would implement that with our next upgrade to our server, which should happen some time next week.
Thanks
