I have been trying this, and I found that if you select "Network based" positioning, and let friend view use approximate location, in the following cases, after a few seconds when trying to locate yourself, the mobile shuts down
- positioning server set to empty
- positioning server set to non-resolvable DNS address
It may also happen when the positioning server is set to some server which doesn't serve supl, but I can't afford to keep my mobile rebooting so frerquently so I don't really know if I intentionally tested that.
Also, any time network based positioning works, it locates me in the northern hemisphere (I'm in Santiago, Chile), I mean, latitude has the correct number but the wrong sign. I have already reported this in particular, but I don't know if this is Maps, FriendView, supl.nokia.com or what. In any case, this happens with maps 2 and maps 3.
