I installed image exchange on a n82. i just use it as an gallery programm. browsing images is really fast, nice animations, auto rotation woring well! really like it! best programm til now!
But there are some things missing which would be nice to have:
-option to enable/disable selection screen (my images/online images). if disabled you can set startup mode, like: my images - latest, my images - search, online images - latest. this is nice if you have an preferred mode you often use.
-option to select a hotkey to open image exchange from standby screen. i could use my unused multimedia button to start image exchange! would be quick and nice startup..
-option to select directorys where image exchange is searching the images to be displayed
-option to choose between different animation effects
here are some problems that occured during usage:
-when images are deleted from phone, image exchange still keeps the old thumbnails and displays them. so when i copy my pics to my pc whith phone in mass storage mode and delete them later, image exchange still displays the thumbnails.
-the "search" window, where all images are displayed is a bit buggy. when watching an image in landscape mode, phone in this position --- , then zoom out, you get to "search" window, but it is not rotated. its in the wrong direction. the images on bottom or top are not fully displayed sometimes, they are cut. if you press up the screen is bouncing up shortly, and you can see the whole image. the "search" window is a nice idea, but should be overworked again.
Hopefully team nokia beta labs fixes the bugs and adds the options to the programm (which should not be very difficult or elaborate to code)to make it even more superior to other.
