I really like this program the image viewer is excellent as well as the other sharing and backup options. I think that the exchange program shold be able to import all the photoes from ovi share or at least know whick ones are already on ovi share. This is to reduce redundancy of data in which a user have to upload his data only once on the internet and all media is placed in one single place.
Indeed, why Nokia has Ovi Share and Image Exchange, these two services should be merged into one :)
Share on OVI is for the masses, whereas Image Exchange is an Experimental project and is intended for a smaller community. The two apps/projects have different end goals.

as the ImEx works properly the only thing that now wonders is why it is no connected to the share on ovi service?
At the moment you have to upload the pics on share on ovi and on ImEx or am I wrong???

"Nokia share online" provides the ability to upload pics to configurable sites. The most useful of which I have found is pixelpipe, which allows photos to be sent directly to facebook/picasa/etc...
This could be done in a number of ways...
* Provide an API to allow user configurable apps to import photos
* Provide "share with Nokia Share online" feature (but hopefully with a better interface)
* Direct integration with fb?
* direct integration with pixelpipe?

It's a great potential program (I use it since the early betas), but even after new changes you made in website as I see today, is a little caotic.
Please, integrate it to Ovi. Maybe most important, as Facebook, integrate it to Orkut too. In Brazil Nokia has the biggest market share in cel phones and Orkut is the biggest relationship site in Brazil and India.

My suggestion is that Nokia Image Exchange be able to share pics or send pics to facebook from the app itself rather than having to go to the NIE website to share pics.
IMO, The image uploads should actually take place to Ovi Share.
As in, NIE should be the front end to the user's Ovi Share account.
Automatic uploading, Manual backups, Album selection, sharing w/ friends & public, can all be tied into Ovi Share. The app has been in Experiment mode for far too long & seems to be a fit candidate to get included into the official nokia services offering. This would really add a whole new dimension to the excellent imaging devices which Nokia offers.
