I cant install Opera Mini on my N97 running FW12.xx.xx and JR2 on either the C: or E: partition. I'm assuming this is down to the JR2, as I had Opera Beta 5 installed and working prior to installing JR2.
Could you give more information how Opera Mini installation fails?
Do you get some error dialog during installation or are you unable to launch Opera Mini?
Using the native browser, pointing at the official Opera Downloads page, the file (either OM 4.2 or OM5) downloads to the handset correctly, and then after hitting "install" on the handset, the progress bar goes to approx 50%, and then stalls.
I have left the handset for an hour with the progress bar showing, but it does not install further. When I press "cancel", the progress bar reduces in size, but again stalls at around 5%, and sits there doing nothing. At this point, the screen freezes, not allowing me to do anything at all.

I haven't seen this problem before and I was not able to reproduce this issue with N97 v12.
We will need to investigate this further.
No problems......I'll try it installing again on V20 when it's released
Updated to FW 2.x.x and now all working properly........Opera Mini installed first time
