Real-world speed improvement. Internet issues crippling infortunately.

Review for Java Runtime 2.1 Beta for Symbian

I found this program to make a significant difference in speed using my 5800(fw : v21)
Using java programs which did not need the internet was perfect.
IM programs caused me to uninstall it.
Messages took painfullly long to come through(mxit v5.82, www.mxit.co.za/wap)
I uninstalled the new runtime and mxit disappeared.
After numerous reinstalls and uninstalls of mxit I reinstalled the runtime envirment and mxit. One after the other and I could now use mxit again.
I only realised my faukt after numerous uninstalls. I never restarted the phone.
I think it should be stated as you uninstall it.
I liked the speed improvements, alot, but the internet issues was a deal breaker for me

I had problems with ebuddy messenger for my nokia 5800 too. It would connect after the second or third attempt but then it always loses the server connection and is unable to establish it.

you are using a very old firmware.the current firmware version is 50.0.005 update your phone using the nokia software updater.some of your problems may be solved.java apps are very buggy on s60 v5 phones.even i faced the same problem with ebuddy messenger on my brand new 5800.
