After having a E72 which didn't support the app I now got an N8 - same...
Would help me reading the smallprint on supermarket packaging for example.

i had a N95 8go using this app and now that i have a brand new N8 it doesn't work anymore... WHAT A SHAME!

I guess the "close up mode" in the camera of N8 performs the same work as this. N8 is excellent in capturing macro mode photos.
Because the S3 phones have HD cameras and the N8 in particular has a good zoom, I think development would be more useful in the direction of scanning and processing documents. I can imagine photographing documents on an E7, then e-mailing them or perhaps even annotating them.
