I really love the idea of having this magnification app on my phone, thus always with me. U see, I’ve got a disability caused by a disease called stargards it falls under the RP (retinitis pigmentosa) group.
I've tried downloading the app onto my N8 but it said the device is not compatible, so if you could adjust the app to become compatible with all phones I think it could be helpful to thousands of people like me.
While I’m at it I might just as well make suggestions for other types of apps that will help million of people. I know my eyes are very bad but i so often hear people complaining that they can't read on the phones.
1. When I (Talking on behalf of the blind) are typing an sms I really find it difficult to distinguish between the letters and what I thought could help is if you make every second row a slightly different colour something like a zebra so it is easier to know which button is where or just make the 5 button a bit brighter or a different colour to the rest so you can clearly identify the middle of the phone.
2. An app that could magnify the text when looking for contacts or the magnification of sms text.
Feel free to contact me, I've got a lot of ideas and experience in living with this condition. I living a fairly normal live using all the resources available to make myself more independent. I finished in a normal school went through normal university and doing a normal job with abnormal assistive devices.
