On N95-1, it correctly warns if the lens cover is closed, but if you then open the lens cover, the camera app starts, and gives the wrning message "Camera in use by another application". Can you prevent the camera app from opening in these circumstances?
Or, as has been suggested, integrate it into the camera app - but if this were done, it would need to be very easy to switch to magnifier mode.
