Having been through a few generations of Nokia smartphones (3250, 6600, e61), and always using a Mac for my main computer, has had me frustrated in the past with the lack of Nokia/Mac support. So much so that I have an old PC I keep around solely for the needs of Nokias.

However, things are indeed changing and Nokia Map Loader for Mac is a shining example of a nearly flawless OSX integration.

Nokia Maps is a feature I use on a regular basis. I never thought I'd need portable maps at all until I sold my car a couple years ago which had in-built navigation system. I paid over

Worked great for me. I work in an all MAC office and can't be bothered to find a PC to connect to my Nokia

Is it me, or the map loader for mac is quite slow? I'm on a macbook (late 2007) with 10.5.6 / 2GB RAM and it takes "some time" to load even something so small as Chile in my n95-3 / 20.2.011/ 4GB card

I just want to add my support to this beta, and to the Nokia / Mac integration in general - I have gone from a 3310 to 6600 to N70, N95 and now N85 while waiting for the N97, and I am a mac user. I have been considering an iphone lately not because I think they are better phones, but because it would integrate better with the rest of my computing.

But now with the combination of isync, Nokia Multimedia Transfer and Map loader, My nokia phone is much more integrated into my computing, be it at work or at home. I am eagerly awaiting the new ovi suite (beta? ;-) ) to further improve this experience.

The iSync currently has not develop the iSync support for N97, however you can expect it to be in the next few months.
