It would be nice to have an advanced scheduler for the application.
Currently there are only options for “soonest” or to check for new mails in a predefined basis.
In my case, and many other I think, I’m at the office from 8am to 2pm and from 4pm to 7pm while I’m at the office I can check email in the computer so there is no need to have the phone checking for new mail too often, but while I’m not at the office (2 - 4) it would be nice to have the phone in “soonest”, after office hours it would be enough to check every 15 to 30 min, and finally in weekends is sufficient to check every one or two hours.
A nice solution would be to create a matrix. “Day of the week”(Mon-Sun) versus “Hour of the day”(00:00 – 23:59) with a “check frequency”(soonest, 5, 10, 30, etc) value for each of the corresponding elements. That way every user could create its own flexible schedule.
