Nokia messaging has specific icons for gmail, hotmail, yahoo and gmail (that i'm aware of).
It would be very nice to allow the user to "personalize" his/her icons on the accounts. I use several accounts and they have all the same icon. In that scenario you have to read to be sure that you are selecting the proper account.
Also, it would be nice to have a set of icons right at email.nokia.com where the user could pick one for each account. Also the user should be able to upload their own icons.
If you let the user personalize, it would offer an easier way to recognize each account and use the product
