It would be nice if at least the little @ symbol showed up when emails are received. Sometimes I've been busy, don't check, then hours later when I randomly check I will see new emails that I forgot about earlier.
At least if I'm on my phone and see the @ symbol it would remind me there are emails.
I also like the full system integration that was mentioned earlier, to replace the built in one.
yeah its really missing out here ... I can not leave it open everytime ... notification can be anything ... a vibration, a little icon on top of the App icon (on the left side ofcourse, coz there would be already an icon on the right showing that this app is already running) or maybe a combination of both ...
I do get sound notification on new mails but no icon...if the light of the center button is left ON on new mails with the icon it will be of great help. I use IMAP on my phone which gives a popup message on new email with icon on the top right of screen, something similar would be great.
On that note, i dont see any difference in these 2 ways of checking mails...my message also reads email in text format just like Nokia Emails Messaging does as of now. I read somewhere it doesnt support HTML emails in 5800...is it true?

There's currently an audible notification and vibration, and we're looking into how we can do more notification.

The "@" symbol is there on the S60 3dr Edition version.
