Performance issues on N97 touch UI after installing

When I have the widget active, the longer you leave the phone on between reboots the poorer the touch UI experience.

Home screen can take maybe 10 seconds to register an action. After a reboot its back to normal again. Removing the widget seems to stop the issue.

I've entered a bug for this. I also agree, the widget has always had performance issues and its about time it more attention was brought to this issue.

it has actualy become routine for of to remove various widgets from the homescreen when not needed for periode of time. --- N95 395 31.0.0.17 | N97 12.0.0.24 ---

Hey Marky,
i experience the same problem as you with my n97, the widget or app causes other functions to take longer than normal or completely crash my phone, but when i stop the app things return back to normal. I think this issue needs to be resolved as it can be annoyin esp when my phone crashes as i need to restart it.
