perhaps it will in the end, but so far despite statements to the contrary i dont see any correlation to the nokia messaging application or service.
email.nokia.com doesn't seem to have any info or settings related to this app, and this app only has facebook in it, no email. perhaps this app will be extended with email capabilities in the future and phase out the nokia messaging client...
on a side note: what memory leak? i use nokia messaging all the time (it's running 100% of the time) and never noticed a memory issue with it. or are you talking about C: drive usage? i'm just curious - maybe i've gotten lucky so far...

It's not overly obvious until you know about it. I used Nokia Messaging all of the time and had set to auto-start. After a while I noticed that my C: drive (phone memory) had slightly less free space than it had previously and I had not added any new files or applications. With time I checked this further and if I did not use the Web app and did not add any other apps my free space would shrink again. With the limited C: drive on the N97 I started trying things. I then observed that even though I had not used the web app, opening the web app and clearing all prviate data would reclaim a small amount of my C: drive free space. I then started checking my free space before and after my hourly email synchonisations with the email.nokia.com servers and noted that evne though I deleted all emails received my free space still sometimes reduced. Basically, for me at least, Nokia Messaging slowly eats away at your C: drive free space a few Kb ata a time. When I uninstalled and tehn re-installed Nokia Messaging I regained MBs of free space. I have repeated this a number of times and each time uninstall and re-install reclaims the space. Deleting all private data in the Web app slows the process, but does not reclaim the full amount each time.
If you think It's not doing it to you check the available space on your C: drive with all e-mails deleted in Nokia Messaging and the uninstall, re-install and re-set-up Nokia Messaging and check your free space again and let me know the result.
