The application and the home screen widget both look great (both need tweaking of course, but this is an initial beta after all). It also works great, with the currently available features.
However after installing the application to my phone, I started having issues of stability, random freezes and restarts in particular... Uninstalling the application put everything back in working order, so I'm almost 100% certain the stability issues were related to the Social Messaging Beta...

however if its not on the widget screen i cant find the app!
i like this version very much! i think the homewidget is much better than from the fb one!
but you cant update it because this function doesnt work...
i think when all features will work, i will use it every day!!

@RobertH did it start working without restarts and freezing after some time?? Should I re-install the app and be patient? Because without the stability problems I loved the app...
The app in general needs to load profiles much more quickly, far tooo slow for me, tried wifi still slow, takes an age on 3g, needs much faster load times, needs to be more stable, better homescreen widget similar to the other facebook app would do cos I already like it.
Helpful ping/sound alert pop up in standby mode would be good when running in the background, to advise of any wall posts, comments etc.
Integration with contacts on your nokia device would be good too, similar to what the iphone has. I'm sure this will all be available in time though, well hopefully, then I will use the app and replace the default facebook app with it.
