steps to install the s/w directly on nokia e71 and to get it working..

1. use skyfire browser to open nokia beta labs website..
2. go to download and installation page of Nokia Messaging.
3. select the checkbox.
4. click on download link of jad file. skyfire will give u an option to select the location to save the file. choose ur desired location.
5. click on download link of jar file. skyfire will give u an option to select the location to save the file. save it in the same folder as jad file.
6. exit skyfire. browse to folder and select the jar file.. s/w will get installed..

this process should overcome the null pointer exception which comes at startup..

pls dont use the default browser.. it will start the file installation as soon as it is downloaded..

Thanks for posting this --this does work, as will a desktop install. We should have single JAD file download working from the default browser by tomorrow
