once in a while I've observed Nokia Messaging icons in my mobile become distorted to the point you get to see the icons only by moving around in the application.
a different problem maybe related to this, is sometimes the accounts icons get exchanged
solves by rebooting, and sometimes even by disconnect/close/open/connect as it looks
