Hi,
I am using Nokia Messaging on Nokia N73 Music Edition. The firmware on my handset is 4.0812.4.2.1 released on March 3,2008 .
It's not pushing my email to my handset even though the application is always online.
At times it goes offline. I don't know why.
Is this Nokia Messaging really a push email client? Most of the times I manually start the sync and it takes 3-4 trials to sync the mailboxes successfully.
Any solutions or suggestions?

- which version of Nokia Messaging client are you using on your device?
- what access point are you using? WAP? INTERNET?
- how's your phone data connecion configured? always connected? connect when needed? what's the default access point?
- finally, on the Nokia Messaging client, on "when to sync", what's your settings?
(sorry my phone is configured in spanish now, so option/menu names may be different)
I have used all the troubleshooting techniques.

Have you received an email from nokia messaging?
When your device is not syncing correct an email will be sent to you reporting an issue.
Of course to view this email is from your email web site.
In my situation it has been my data connection that cuts it off.
Although keep in mind it depends on your region and there are cases with nokia messaging doing this, but quite normal as i have seen it improve over time.
I most likely say its the data connection.
Nokia sends out an email if it's unable to connect to the email service provider's server. In my case the prob is not that. I too received such mails earlier. I don't know if the problem is with my device or the application itself. I don't think the application is really a push email client. When I have first seen that Nokia Email was moved into 'Graduated' as Nokia Messaging, I installed it right away. But it didn't take much time to actually get disappointed.
I think the team at Nokia has got still a lot of issues to work on.
