The actual time of message received is not shown instead of the time of opening of the app

I'm using nokia 5130 c-2 (v 07.97)

My mobile is java based OS,so I cant be running the application NMC always. After receiving a message,if I do not check it immediately and check it out later . The message time shown in NMC will be that of clock time in my mobile at the time of opening of the application instead of the actual time I have received the message.
