It is really good. I find it easier to send messages across to my friends, family, classmates and other groups. The best thing is, I can send multiple sms and be charged for just one. That's a good thing cause I have limited sms pack. And when I'm out of sms, I can switch to GPRS, which I think is more convenient.
Sent and received messages show up on the phones of all the group members whether or not they have the application, i.e., even when they have a phone of different make.
That way, its a text conference. Much better if you're sending out announcements, general questions etc, you can have everyone's opinion.
Also, the IM like look makes texting feel good
