Just a few words, with the hope that someone will read them.
I know there are many projects and everyone is doing their best, so this is not to complain or to blame anyone, it's only a personal opinion, because I like this app very much and it's a pity to see it abandoned.
This app is also on Ovi Store, exactly the same as this beta (actually on Ovi is written that is experimental and so on). This is probably the most followed app in Beta Labs (I guess this is the reason to keep it here and not archive it) and people are still reporting bugs and comments.
The question is simple: is there any real possibility that someone will come back to work on this app, which is one of the best (my first and only beta installed for a long time)?
If the answer is yes, I will keep waiting with confidence, even if more than a year have passed.
But if the answer is no, what is the use of increasing hopes and let comments spread if the beta on Ovi Store is the best we can have and there is no possibility to have a better product or a final release?

@steceso - Thanks for your patience and polite critique. I agree this is not a productive situation for a beta trial. We've been looking into this case and hope to have a status update in the near future.

Unfortunately the situation is quite the same, but the followers number is still increasing, and only after years it has been overcome by other apps, and just because they are developed.
The comments (apart from the exit button ones) are always the same: very good app, wonderful, should be used on every phone and all that stuff.
The feeling is that this app is quite at the final stage of development, so would require very little effort to become a good one.
Also, I think that this app would benefit from the new phones with GPU that can make the graphic processes even faster and better looking.
So please, if there is any possibility to make it come back, do it, I'm sure that many, many users will thank you all and will make this a great showing point of their Nokia.

So sad to see a good app get abandoned. At least they should release source code to let someone else take up the app development.
