Thanks. Exit has been a very popular request. We'll address this in the future releases.
Well i see it more of a general sense, and besides the reason NPB approach is to have a no button pure viewing experience is about the end users and their knowledge to symbian/nokia/s60.
Me personally i luv the s60 UI and its legacy that comes with it. Im an option, feature, advanced button kinda user, but for this current project i highly disagree with adding an exit button. As much as i want to put myself first and request, i look towards the projects intent and future experience and end users.
Reasons as follows.
-It goes against the project purpose and experience
-S60 is changing with the inclusion of touch and time for new.
-The end key works wonderful unless users are having issues.
-Seamless experience. For example my brother is an iphone user so he always hits the end keys on all my devices not realizing its set on the background.
As being members of the Nokia Beta Labs community we are mainly advanced and veteran users.
This old method is not the same with the new generation of users and on coming s60 adopters.
Look how nokia is changing, where is the s60 key? Pencil key? Think for the upcoming market.
-Veteran users know how to use the Multi-tasking key/feature.
-I think the project team should deeply weigh out the projects purpose posed to the number of requests.
