Facial recognition is nice, but not reliable

Very nice. I also got the "not compatible" warning on install, but have seen no issues on my N95-3NAM. The accelerometer support is nice.

Face browsing is more miss than hit -- faces are only detected if they are large, facing the camera, and vertical. Tilted or turned faces aren't recognized. Any blockage (finger on chin, etc) seems to befuddle the detector.

I have a large number of pictures on my phone, and after giving the program time to look at them all, it seemed happy. It does seem to limit searches to "user" photo directories, and does not show system icons/pictures like the default gallery app.

i have a picture of my friend and his girlfriend. to phone detected the faces and gave me the option of face browsing put when i want to start the option it says no faces found?!

Ha, very cool but, yeah, the face recognition needs some work. It would not detect many normal unobstructed faces but it did detect 'faces' in a group of easter eggs with funny face stickers on them.
