At the moment the program is not so bad, but not so good.
As written in the "learn more" of the program on point 2 and 8, it seems that the NPB team wants to made the replacement of gallery in a new amazing graphic interface. At the moment it is a little beat so far to be the replacement because there is many missing features like a faster scroll, the sending function and so on.

Another negative point NPB creates its own thumbnails, why not use the gallery ones?

I think that giving 3 stars is a little bit excessive, but I hope it will encourage the NPB to made the program quickly to 5 stars

If u take another look to "read more" u will see that they said they dont want to make a replacement for gallery. ;)

you are right!
Effectly the gallery is not only for photos, it is for sound, tracks, etc..
But it could be a replacement of the gallery function "images and clip".
