A small review by me about this app.
First thing i noticed when i loaded it up, it does take a little while to create thumbnails for all the pictures in my phone. Once This is done, the app is fully functional and rockingly fast! I absolutely LOVE the way the pictures rotate along with the phone. Sad that its only two way rotation, but still very innovative and great to look at. This is a perfect app for wow-ing your friends when you flaunt this device! ;-)
Other pro's i found were the kinetic scrolling, after all thumbnails load, the scrolling is amazing to look at. And around 80% of the photos i tried (taken with my rather mediocre 5800 cam itself) the app was able to detect faces! the other few photos were either too noisy or too dark. Either way, thats a really Neat feature, loved the way it first highlights the faces then allows us to scroll away!
There were no real cons actually, apart from the sluggish first time opening of the app. The app does what it promises to do, and does it quite well. I give it 4/5 because it is not very functional as far as more features go, at the moment. And another small downside is the transitions themselves are a bit slow. Maybe increasing the performance of flicking between photos should be made a bit faster.
But im sure as time goes by, the app will receive more updates, there definitely is a Bright future for this application!
Last but not the least, I was blown away to see that how much fun using a well written app can be! This is what nokia needs to take notice! Great software is all they need right now! All the phones nokia make have amazing hardware by default, all they need are more awesome apps like this! :D
