when there are no images to view, you should change the look of the app. instead of just having the notification that there are no images and possibility to exit, maybe there should be some logos or default images, just too see how the app looks and feels, and when you get new images, then they come to the place of this logos and default images and replace them. a estetical make up.
Just take photos or add images.
The app is designed to show images so if you have no images then you don't need the app. All this would do is increase teh size of the app with no real positives.

one or two default images wouldn't hurt that much. looks really ygly when you start the app whit no pics and that ugly notification of no images and exit option. looks like it's an amateur app, eventhough it's not.
