I like this app much better than the original, cooliris style is rocking.
But as an oldtimer with 36 years, I would like to have an Option to activate sensitive areas on the screen.
Once I would like the Option:
- Use and Show navigation after tipping.
For regular users:
- Use Navigation, but do not show
For users who do not like this navigation style:
- Do not use xxx-Navigationstyle
The area to start your round zoom would only start in the center area. Another Zoom-option would maybe toggle 200%, 100%, 50%, 25%, fit screen. Overzoom should be marked on the screen.
My horizontal screen would preferred look like:
Option ----------- Zoom -------------- Back
Prev ----------- Sensitive Area ----- Next
------------------- for Zoom
Send -------- more feature ---- more feature
(The "-" is only for keeping the white space, looks like the forum cuts the white spaces.)
I would like an option to shut off the sliding effect to make it faster. Looks not to innovative, but you can keep it as default.
Definitely support for folders is needed. If it is necessary to have the images-folder as a default, ok, but keep a switch to turn it of.

x Use only memory card
x Use only phone memory
x Use only folder ... (Dialog to open a folder on the phone/mem card.
No chance to pick a folder, that is a step backwards.
After putting 20000 of my pics in 1280x960px I thought, I surf through them like on my old 6280,but not with the original gallery, still have to try the Photo Browser now.
As a ACDSEE 3.0 and Irfan View user on the comp, I like speed. Options to switch off features are nice.
There are people with folder structures for their pictures, who know exactly, where to look, oh, I said something about the need to browse folders. ;-)
Just how I would like my picture viewer, I even would spend some money on it.
