The addition of having a menu for the extended functions is a blessing and needed improvement so thanks!
But i have one thought to suggest and obviously see if anyone else would agree.
From what i understand about the application as a whole is that you are trying to create something a little bit different, so far i think this has been achieved very well.
Personally i think that having the standard look menu pop up once you hold for the menu almost goes against the idea and is a little bit of a backwards step. I dont know about anyone else but something a little bit different again would maybe be more in keeping with the idea of the application.
This doesnt have to be the answer but maybe once the menu action is selected the picture could be brought up top with the further actions next to or around the picture
