This looks and works very well Nokia. I love the kinetic scrolling through the photos and the magnifying glass. However, I would really like to see this integrated with the current main menu that you see when you first open up the photos application already on the N97. I like having the ability to choose between captured photos, downloaded photos, months, tags, albums, and share online because I like having control over what content I choose to see, rather than just being shown everything. Plus I like to be able to sort photos into different groups, such as months or albums and view those specific groups. I also like how when you see your photo collection on the N97's default photo browser, you can tap a photo in the collection and choose to send it via a message or upload it to Flickr or whatever. I noticed no such options exist in this. Also, when you have an image showing in full screen and you rotate the phone to change from portait to landscape orientation, it would make more sense for it to stay on the photo you were viewing than to go back out to the photo collection. It's silly to be showing someone something and just because you change the orientation to get a better look at it, you have to open it back up again. And I would really like to see the ability to be viewing a photo full screen, tap the photo once and have options menu and the option to manually zoom in (in addition to the double tap to zoom), or to delete the photo, or send it to someone, upload it, or go back to the gallery. I'm well aware that this is a beta application, but I sure do hope that you can combine this with the current photo browser on the N97, and doing what I've discussed above to make one that is exceptional.
