regardless all tipps in this forum it was not possible for me to scan any upc code with p&f by using a N97 (12.0.x firmware). What I can't understand: For Germany, p&f includes barcoo application. By using p&f, none of all tested upc codes could be scanned (I've used different light situations, different code targets concerning product type, ...). But the original barcoo application had no problems with the same codes! By this behaviour, p&f is not usable on N97 :-(
Please can you further explain your problem.
Does P&F manage to focus on the UPC but not recognise the info or does it not manage to focus in the first instance?

Yes - focus was ok, but the app did not stop to scan the code - the app has managed to focus the upc, after this(for approx. 2 seconds) the code was sharp visible on the screen but after this time, the app started to rescan (and this is the same behaviour for all the time - I did not manage to complete the scan).
That's really funny - neither the scanner is working on N97 nor it is on N95 - could that be a problem concerning the german version of p&f? Is there anybody in Germany who has managed scanning only one 2d or 1d-barcode with this software (both codes are not readable)

Could you please let me know what firmware version you are using? Also, if you have a moment to take a screenshot of the app, that would be really helpful.

Firmware is 20.0.019 13-10-09 RM-505. Screen shot is currently not possible, but if it helps - I would have awaited a box frame for targeting the code, but there's no frame visible.
There are a number of FREE S60v5 Screenshot apps around that work on the N97 with v20FW.
