Nokia Pulse seems to request an active internet connection in the background. I've noticed that ever since I had it on my N9, the internet connection dialog pops up very often. Probably like every 5 minutes. This is rather annoying, which is why I uninstalled it for now, and it's been a day since I didn't get nagged to connect to the internet.
