Its a relatively minor point, as the functionality already exists to zoom in to graphs to see steps at the minute level, however its a bit clunky when in the 'today' view to have to go back out to the menu, and in to diary view just to zoom in. This would be particularly useful for the kind of practical uses I talk about in my review.
